Is this the Standard version or the Special version?
Comparable in size to the Special, but with more options a little better hardware. For a beginner guitar, the LP 100 won’t disappoint. I’m still learning on mine and have been very pleased with the playability and comfort of this sized guitar.
To compare the 3 side-by-side…
Special II – $180, 8 lbs, no pick guard, dot inlays, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way switch, bolt-on neck, Humbucker pickups, Covered tuners
LP-100 – $270, 8 lbs, pick guard, dot inlays, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch, bolt-on neck, Humbucker pickups, Premium die-cast tuners
Standard – $400, 8.5 lbs, pick guard, trapezoid inlays, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch, set neck, Alnico pickups, Grover tuners, Cream binding.
The LP Studio is another option to consider:
Studio – $360, 8.8 lbs, pick guard, dot inlays, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3 way toggle, Alnico pickups, Grover tuners
Good luck picking one out.
